Algunos anuncios para Octubre:

El domingo 16 de octubre será el domingo sin plática con 2 periodos de 
meditación sentada.  Cada mes tenemos un domingo sin plática y un 
domingo con el horario prolongado.

Pero no tendremos una meditación dominical con el horario prolongado 
este mes, o debería decir sí lo tendremos pero como parte del retiro en 
San Sebastián del Oeste. No habrá meditación en la casa en el Palmar de 
Aramara el domingo 23 cuando estamos en el retiro.

El 30 de octubre, tendremos una meditación dominical normal con una 
plática y luego después tendremos una ceremonia de Sejiki, la ceremonia 
de dar alimento a los espíritus famélicos. La plática de ese día tratará 
del significado de la ceremonia. La ceremonia durará unos 15 o 20 
minutos. Después todos están invitados para una comida compartida. Por 
favor trae un plato vegetariano para compartir.

En noviembre regresaremos a las pláticas basadas en el Sutra del Diamante.

Dear friends,

A few announcement for October:

This coming Sunday, October 16, there will be 2 periods of meditation 
with no Dharma talk. One Sunday each month we have meditation without a 
talk and one Sunday we sit with an extended schedule.

However this month there will be no Sunday meditation with the extended 
schedule, or perhaps I should say that we will have a Sunday with an 
extended schedule, but it will be part of the weekend retreat in San 
Sebastián del Oeste. There will be no meditation at the house in Palmar 
de Aramara on Sunday the 23rd while we are at the retreat.

On October 30th, we will have the usual meditation with a Dharma talk, 
followed by a Sejiki ceremony. This is a ceremony of feeding the Hungry 
Ghosts. That day's Dharma talk will cover the meaning of the ceremony. 
The ceremony itself will last 15 or 20 minutes. Afterwards all are 
invited for a pot-luck meal. Please bring a vegetarian dish to share.

In November we will return to the Dharma talks on the Diamond Sutra.
